Corporate finance at a securities firm in Yeouido, then investment review at a venture capital firm in Apgujeong. Five years, and several thousand pages of registration statements and investment memos. Teaching is the centre of my work now, but what those years taught me — reading numbers, reviewing documents, building the grounds for a judgement — still gets used.
